Lesson Plan Title : Hanukkah and Nutrition
Age Range: Grade 9 through grade 12 (High School)
Overview and Purpose: The holidays are a great time to enjoy yummy food. In this lesson, students explore the nutritional value of some of the traditional foods found at Hanukkah.
Objective: The student will be able to compare the nutritional value of traditional Jewish holiday food.

Activities:
Talk with your students about the traditional Jewish food served during Hanukkah. Ask them if they know how the food is prepared. Explain that in this lesson, they're going to determine the nutritional value of these great holiday foods. Divide the students into groups and have them use the Internet to find the information they need to complete the worksheet.
